Robyn grew up in Little Venice, London, with her mum, dad and three cheery brothers!
While her brothers were frog-splashing into a makeshift wrestling ring in their bedroom, shouting, “Do you SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING?!”,
Robyn was always “upstairs”, working on some type of art project.
Some nights she could be seen clambering out of the window, slipping through the emergency exit to sit on the rooftop with her friends.
Up there, she would munch on snacks, swap spooky stories and watch the neighborhood fox prowling the streets of London. Come bonfire night, they always had a fabulous view of the fireworks!
Robyn was always certain she was going to bump into a certain brown bear at paddington station but, alas, she grew up!
Instead, she completed a Master of Science in Psychology, studied the art of chocolate making, and—much to everyone’s surprise—three new cheeky siblings arrived. Better late than never! She travelled and taught, and in return learned a lot. Bringing together all her experiences, loves, and passions, she began creating moments of magic in her books.
In the second part of her life, the more adult version, she settled in California with her fluffy cat, Leo, and her grizzly human husband (not a bear!).
